According to Peter Travers, PFach is the worst vamp ever...
Facinelli is a solid actor, but playing Carlisle Cullen, the white-haired head of the fang-challenged Cullen vampire family, he looks about as terrifying as Project Runway winner Austin Scarlett, whom Carisle closely resembles.

Peter responded to Travers with this via Twitter:
....Thank you Mr. Travers. As Carlisle is a compassionate humanitarian, and anti-vampire in nature, being the worst Vampire was quite the compliment. Although, you had me at "solid actor". :) I did find the comparison to Austin Scarlett utterly ridiculous though ... He has way better cheek bones.

(Honestly, Scarlett's cheek bones scare me a little!) =\

Taylor Lautner Sues Trailer Company!

‘Twilight’ star Taylor Lautner is suing a trailer company after they failed to deliver a customised RV to the actor in time for him to begin filming new movie ‘Abduction’.Taylor Lautner is suing a trailer company for “emotional distress”.

The ‘Twilight’ star planned to buy a customised 2006 Country Coach Recreational Vehicle (RV) for $300,000 to use while filming new movie ‘Abduction’ but has launched legal action over his “annoyance” that the vehicle wasn’t delivered on time.

The actor filed a lawsuit at Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday (23.08.10) against McMahon’s RV after the dealership failed to have the vehicle delivered by the agreed date of June 21.

Taylor, 18, has claimed breach of contract and fraud and is demanding unspecified damages from the company.

Eclipse Box Office Update!
"For those comparing the films in The Twilight Saga, at this point in its release history (after 57 days) New Moon had taken in $291,550,109. Eclipse is now at $297,439,330. Both films hit the $250M mark on the 16th day. The total domestic gross for New Moon was $296,623,634 (after 132 days). Eclipse has now broken that total by $816,696 (after 57 days). The film is now within striking distance of the elusive $300M mark. It needs about $2.56M to get to that number. It took New Moon 22 more days to earn an additional $2.56M after its 57th day, and Eclipse is clearly doing better. On the other hand, New Moon was in 724 theaters after 57 days while Eclipse is dropping to 476 locations tomorrow. Still, even after New Moon’s theater count had dropped to 444 (after 63 days) it still went on to take in another $3.8M. Therefore, it should take no more than one more month for Eclipse to earn another $2.6M and pass $300M."

USA Today Explores Why Louisiana Was Chosen For Filming Breaking Dawn!by Breaking Dawn Movie on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at 12:42pm
USA Today has a new article explaining the incentives, and the reasoning why Louisiana has been the go to place lately to have movies/TV shows filmed. The Expendables, The Green Latern, The Last Exorcism, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button are among some of the movies that have been recently filmed in Louisiana. The extremely popular HBO show True Blood is also filmed in Louisiana.

Here is what they had to say about Breaking Dawn, and the tax incentives Louisiana is offering to gain such huge films -

Breaking Dawn, the fourth installment in the hugely successful Twilight series, films this year in Baton Rouge.

We’re way ahead of the curve in the New Orleans region,” says Katie Gunnell, interim director of the city’s Office of Film and Television. “The city has seen an incredible bump in applications for 2011 as well.”

Across the state, work is consistent and year-round, despite hurricane season and blazing summer temperatures. “We’ve maintained 20 to 25 productions at any given time during the year,” Stelly says. “We’ve doubled for New York City, Los Angeles, the Northwest, basically Anytown, USA.”

“You can get an 1800s look, you can get a Parisian look,” says Todd Lewis, producer of The Chaperone. “You can get suburbs, you can get the country. It’s got a little bit of everything.” His movie, out next year, is one of several Louisiana-based films funded by World Wrestling Entertainment and featuring wrestling stars, in this case Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

The state offers the most competitive economic and tax incentives of any in the country. A system of financial perks was enacted after Hurricane Katrina destroyed $81 billion in property and killed 1,836 people in 2005.

“We approached it like a business, and it keeps (filmmakers) coming back, based on our reliability and stability,” Stelly says. “For every dollar you spend in the state, we’ll give you 30% back (in rebates). And we give you an additional 5% for hiring Louisiana residents on productions.”

Tax incentives can be sold as credits or used to offset personal or corporate income tax, he says.

“As things get more expensive, you have to go wherever you get the budget relief,” Lussier notes. “You can no longer use Mulholland Drive for your backwoods road movie.”

There is also the sense among filmmakers that they are helping an area that sorely needs a hand in bouncing back from one of the worst natural disasters in history.

“Louisiana has been through so much, and I’m glad to be able to make a film there,” says Nicole Kidman, who is shooting the 2011 film Trespass in Shreveport this summer with Nicolas Cage.

“The economy desperately needs the film business,” Lurie says. “And it’s fantastic watching people get employed. We hired a thousand people to be extras and put a couple of hundred bucks in their pockets, and that’s helpful to the economy. The film commission is among the most proactive I’ve ever seen.”

It is great to see Louisiana doing well, and attracting huge films! Especially after the devastation they have gone through over the past few years.

"“It’s really a lot about being…in the room,” the Twilight author confides. “And it’s going to be a lot of upheaval in my life, but I felt like it was important. And then also, it’s the last one. So I kinda feel like, I’m going to commit to this for this year, I’ll get it done, and then I won’t do that again.”

The suits at Summit still claim they can do the book justice without creating an R-rated movie. Producer Wyck Godfrey reveals, “I’m unwavering in my belief that these will be PG-13 movies. And really, I say that not because I know what we’re shooting but because I feel that they should be. I feel like the audience of the books and the movies, many of them are under 18…I can’t make an R-rated conclusion to the franchise.”

Not to mention that Stephenie’s Mormon faith counsels against watching R-rated movies. So she’ll probably want to keep it PG-13 anyway."

The third installment in the Twilight Saga has earned $33.4 million this weekend at the box office in North America, bringing its total to $237 million domestically.

Internationally, the film took in another $81.1 million this weekend to bring its worldwide gross to $219 million.

That means, all across the globe, Eclipse has earned $456 million.

We all expected Eclipse to beat out New Moon in the numbers, but thus far New Moon takes the prize! Read below...
Yet that applause is surely tempered somewhat, as “Eclipse” failed to out-gross “New Moon,” its series predecessor, which opened last fall with $178.9 million in box-office receipts over six days. While there can be no exact comparisons between the initial performances of each film, since “New Moon” opened on Friday, all eyes are going to focus on the ultimate question: Will “Eclipse” defeat “New Moon” at the box office?

My prediction: Eclipse will beat NM overall in the box office. It's getting so many great reviews more and more people will be piling in to that movie theater over the next few weekends!

Newest Breaking Dawn News...
According to New York Magazine, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner will receive $25 million dollars US each, for both Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2, plus 7.5% of the films’ gross revenue -- the three will each receive $25 million US for Breaking Dawn, Parts 1 and 2, and as if that weren’t enough, they’ll also receive 7.5 per cent against the films’ gross revenue. Going by conservative estimates, it means that once they’re done sparkling, exuding angst and falling in love with vampire babies, the three actors will probably earn about $41 million US each for the last two films.

OH! And it's official: BD will be filmed in Louisiana!

LL: Having read Breaking Dawn, where things get ratcheted up a notch, do you still go for that PG-13 rating?

MR: Oh yeah, absolutely. That’s your audience. In this series you don’t sacrifice anything. There are some movies that wouldn’t play at PG-13, like The Hangover, but this is just not one of them for me. Again, if you’re capturing character, emotion, and emotional journey, you’re OK.
